I really like the way this shot turned out.

Mom and Jon Henry making snow angels. Coco is helping.

Well, I guess it snowed in a bunch of places where snow isn’t normally seen. This is quite an accumulation for the Atlanta area. I’ve seen it before but only a few times. Nice fluffy stuff. Looks like the weather guys are getting good at this as they predicted around 2″ to 3″ of the white stuff. Might post so more later.
Here is a similar shot from January 2008.

We had a great time at the museum. There was a lot to see and do. We probably could have spent more time. It is divided up into a few different sections. Gems, fossils, auto and space, learning (big back yard), and there was a room for panning for gem stones and archeological digging for fossils.
First visited the planetarium and watched that presentation. It was very nice. Next was the gem stones and minerals area. My mother-in-law probably would enjoy this area. Next to that is the dinosaurs and fossils area. After that we visited the automobile, aircraft and space section. We took a break and when we returned we visited the “Big Back Yard” section which has lots of “learning” stations. After that we visited the panning for gems and digging for fossils area (which was packed).

Jon Henry had his promotion test for his martial arts class. I’m not sure how long he has been going but it is a good class. We really like the instructor. T.M. Kim of Tang Soo Do.
